Our amazing journey in project Magic of the Frame – Teach with documentary film led us to the next inspiring teachers’ meeting in Budapest. This teachers’ meeting was also focused on many practical activities related to exchange of experience in support of our project activities.

Teachers from the 4 countries worked on their own specific parts in the curriculum in order to finalize their work. They have designed a class that would prepare students to watch the documentary. 70 minutes brainstorming about the content was done, followed by 2the structure and in small groups they designed the respective parts. At the end the groups together formed the final plan.

As a separate part of the LTT, teachers had an inspiring experience to work with students in Kürt Alternatív Gimnázium (one of the project partners).

The work was very practical for the project participants as well as for the students who haven’t worked with documentary in such a way. Students’ reactions were very useful for adjusting the final lesson plans.

A theater workshop based on the HUGO Magic program (lesson 6) was hosted by Dutch teachers. The LTT program continued with discussion. Very interesting points of view and different perspectives have been shared along with workshopping ideas, what could work as field work in other countries, alternatives for exercises, how to include other subjects (interdisciplinary, project learning).

The project LTT meeting finished with a discussion regarding the next steps and teachers networking and project partners looking ahead to incorporate what was discussed in their daily work and.
